American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career as an actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had the role of a supporting character on FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira on the very first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson's character in AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in The NBC show This Is Us. She also voices a number of characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when her mom and daughter moved to California. They were able to move around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in singing, acting and photography around the age of 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother at age 15 to pursue her acting career.
